Our directors Andrew Brasington and Michael Taylor are born and raised in Newcastle, we’re a bunch of proud Novocastrians who bring a fun, family-like vibe to our workplace. Our commitment? To deliver unbeatable quality and foster lasting relationships with every client and supplier we meet.
Where did the name SM come from? The name comes from the initial of Mick and Andrew’s wives names Stace and Mel. Both Stace and Mel have played a role in the success of the business over the years and have recently joined the business in full time roles to ensure it’s continued success.
We embarked on our exciting journey in June 2020. Since then, it’s been a thrilling ride of growth, learning, and switchboard wizardry!
Mick, one of our founders, shares, “The idea was born over a coffee catch-up with Bras. Despite the onset of COVID in early 2020, we were undeterred. Two days later, a glass of wine and beer in hand, Stace and I laid down the foundation of our dream business. Our motto? To forge ahead fearlessly, pandemic or not!”
